FINDING YOUR IDEAL CAREER

So many people ‘fell into’ their career, or turn up at a job they hate every day, primary purpose = to pay the bills. How would you life be if you could jump out of bed every morning, excited and energised and happy to be spending your valuable time doing something that you absolutely love? Good? Great? Amazing?

Your career is a massive part of your life; of who you are, of who you want to be (as well as paying the bills) so we don’t want to rush you. Instead, we offer two inspiring and focused workshops. The first helps you to discover what you really want to do with your life. The second helps you get it!

PART I – CAREER DISCOVERY

Utilising the Authentic Vocation model of career discovery, this workshop guides you through an 8-step process to identify and design YOUR ideal career. You will really get to know yourself, what you value, what motivates you and what you are good at, as well as what kinds of jobs or careers excite you and what sort of environment you want to work in. Finally, you will work with our experienced coaches to determine whether your ideal career is financially viable and to ensure that you have a realistic view of the job search process and possible outcomes.

PART II – JOB SEARCH DYNAMICS

Once you have discovered your ideal career, it is time to go out there and get it! This workshop gets you thinking of yourself as a product to be marketed and provides a basis for designing your own unique marketing strategy. You will discover how to identify appropriate openings in both the published and unpublished job market, create an amazing CV and get tips and ideas on how approach all stages of the interview process. Finally, you will learn tools to help you negotiate the optimum remuneration package, as well as how to comprehensively evaluate the job offers that you will most definitely receive.
